Are you interested in working in the bush regeneration in NSW?  Bush-it can occasionally offer oppotunities to applicants who are motivated, hard working, physically fit and have a genuine affinity for the Australian bush.

All our trained regenerators have at minimum the following skills and qualifications:

• - Cert III in Natural Area Restoration or equivalent
• - OH&S Construction Induction (Whitecard) issued by Workcover NSW
• - Cert III AQF Chemical application certification
• - Senior First Aid certificate
• - Current driver's licence

Additional desirable qualifications include chainsaw or brushcutter certifications, advanced 4wd training, boat licence, ropes access certification, level II or remote area first aid.  Academic backgrounds in botany, earth sciences or environmental management are also appropriate.

Desirable work experience includes former regen work, landscaping or council work, Greencorp, Bushcare volenteering or anything else along these lines.

If you have these attributes, you may be suited to joining the team as a trained regenerator.  Bush-it may also consider employing trainee regenerators who are working toward these qualifications.

Most of all, our regenerators must have an understanding of and sensitivity to the outcomes that Bush-it is striving towards, as outlined in our mission statement.
